Ms. Rona (COVID-19) has forced the “hustler” in almost everyone to step up their game 2,000%, myself included. When B. Simone announced she was dropping a Manifestation/Self-Help book, I was intrigued. I discovered B. Simone last year while on YouTube searching, “how to start a cosmetic line” and then became a faithful watcher of Baby Girl TV in late 2019 to present day. Baby Girl TV is a vlog series that documents B. Simone’s day-to-day with running her various businesses and before COVID-19, her being on tour with several big-name sachvui.co in late January/February she announced/manifested a goal to have $1,000,000 in her savings account by April 5, 2020 (our birthday! LOL). Don’t quote me but I believe she had to make around $250,000 to $300,000 to achieve this goal. Through the months we witnessed ups like: her AirBnB (investment property) being completed, and her cosmetic line B. Simone Beauty have 5 and 6 figure months. We also witnessed her downs; with both tours she was on being cancelled due to Ms. Rona, various business expenses eating at the goal, along with some weeks falling short of her projected financial goals. Through it all she made it to a million dollars and credits it all to the power of manifestation, including the family and staff that helped get her there. After seeing ALL OF THAT unfold in real time, I was like let me see what Babyyy Girlll talking about.

“Baby Girl” is B. Simone’s catchphrase.

Baby Girl Manifest the Life You Want by B. Simone sold out immediately and I purchased my copy on the 2nd or 3rd round of restocks, along with a tube of the “Link in Bio” matte lipstick. My copy arrived about a week or so later. The website forewarns it may take up to 21 days for shipping due to… you guessed it Ms. Rona.

A visual representation of how COVID-19 is getting on my nerves!

Once it arrived, I immediately jumped into the book and got to sachvui.co book is a compilation of several genres:Motivational/ Self-HelpWorkbook with elements of a vision boardSpiritualandSlight Social media guideMotivational/ Self-help:Baby Girl Manifest the Life You Want by B. Simone is similar to books like, “The Secret” or “You Are a Badass…” in its message of believing in yourself and manifesting. BUT it has a coming from your cousin and you witnessed their growth with your own eyes, type of feeling to it. One of the best parts about this book, is the images of her diary entries with the date written on them. You get to see what she manifested in present day based off of those entries. Those images allow to feel what she was going through at the time, based off her large and loopy handwriting. Another thing that I appreciated was a letter she received that critiqued her actions and behavior and instead of taking offense she applied what was said and grew upon it.Workbook/ Vision Board:First things first, I want to applaud the writing space that was granted in the book! If you have large handwriting, your hand won’t cramp from trying to write small. LOL The worksheets, make you apply what’s relevant in that chapter to your life. That way you don’t get lost in all the advice and stories like other books in the genre of Self-Help. Throughout the book your language start to change in a positive way towards yourself and goals. I say part Vision Board because it makes you think and be specific about your future wants.Spiritual:Those diary entries I discussed earlier are actually prayers. Basically, she informs you, you can’t get anywhere without a spiritual source. It’s not preachy at all, mama has faith!Slight Social Media Guide:Baby Girl Manifest the Life You Want by B. Simone provides a list of inspiring individuals you should follow for motivation.Overview:Recommended Age: 16-35 (even older if they are unfamiliar with manifestation.)Reading/ Activity Time: 2 weeksLength: 37 pagesReturn Read: YesWorth Cost: Yes, $25This book forces you to put a mirror up to yourself and get to know you. It has a ton of hidden gems inside that’ll help keep you on track with your goals and other obstacles you may face along the way. I finished Baby Girl Manifest the Life You Want by B. Simone in about 2 weeks including worksheets for review purposes. I definitely suggest taking your time with it and letting it digest with your current life. I’m still going back and working on some assignments. B. Simone is very relatable and can go from one of your “little friends” that your mama like and don’t mind at the house. But has the maturity and advice like a modern aunt; neither end of the age recommendations should feel out of place reading this book. Honestly, this is what sets Baby Girl Manifest the Life You Want by B. Simone apart from, “The Secret” and others is her ability to relate to the masses and witnessing the success firsthand. In the past 2 years, I’ve listened/read about 8 self-help books and all but 2 made me feel like they were talking to me. Not to mention the; did you REALLY apply what you’re talking about, to what you’re living factor. But with B. Simone she has the sachvui.co Girl Manifest the Life You Want by B. Simone is #BluTribe approved!!

*UPDATE*

Sooooo, I know there has been some controversy around the book recently and I wouldn’t feel right if it wasn’t addressed. In mid June B. Simone was accused of plagiarism with some of the list and diagrams inside of Baby Girl, Manifest the Life You Want, once this became public she halted all sales of the book on her website. B. Simone released a statement saying the matter is now being handled through her legal team, she takes responsibility for the mishap, and finally that she outsourced most of the process for creating the book. Personally, I don’t see why people are ready to “cancel” her; I say named the other people as co-authors and provide a portion of the sales. But that maybe too simple…
